The Court 8 offers a thoughtfully designed Queen guest residence within The Court, a boutique vacation rental destination located in the heart of Seaside Florida. Following a comprehensive eighteen month renovation, The Court has been carefully restored to blend architectural history with modern coastal comfort. Eight guest residences are arranged around a lush central garden with outdoor seating, creating a setting that feels both intimate and relaxed, just moments from Seaside’s most visited attractions.

From The Court 8, guests enjoy an easy walk to the beach, the Coleman Pavilion beach access, Black Bear Bread Company, the Seaside Amphitheater, and the charming downtown area filled with shops and restaurants.

A Seaside Original with a New Perspective

The property was formerly known as the Motorcourt, once referred to as the No Tell Motel, and has long been part of Seaside’s early architectural story. Designed by acclaimed architect Scott Merrill, recipient of the Driehaus Architecture Prize, the original structure reflected a refined interpretation of classic motor court living.

After serving as administrative offices for many years, the building has been fully transformed into The Court, now offering a distinctive vacation rental experience that feels both rooted in history and refreshed for today’s traveler.

Queen Guest Room with Garden Views

The Court 8 is one of six standard court style Queen rooms, designed to provide a peaceful and comfortable stay. The room overlooks the beautifully landscaped central garden and open green space known as The Lawn, allowing guests to enjoy soft natural views throughout the day.

Inside, the space features a queen bed outfitted with luxurious Peacock Alley linens, custom built in storage, and a dedicated desk nook well suited for remote work or quiet planning. Serena and Lily furnishings and coastal design elements create a welcoming atmosphere that feels both refined and relaxed.

Comfort Focused Amenities

Guests will find a built in coffee station with a Nespresso maker, an under counter refrigerator, and ample storage for a well organized stay. The oversized private bathroom includes a generous vanity, a marble tiled walk in shower, and a rainfall showerhead with wand. Two plush bathrobes are provided for added comfort.

The room also includes blackout shades, enhanced soundproofing, a Samsung Smart Frame television, and a dedicated WiFi booster, offering both privacy and modern convenience throughout your stay.

Private Porch and Outdoor Living

Just outside the room, a private side porch opens to views of the lawn and garden. Furnished with a custom hanging bed and a Utility Canvas throw, this space invites slow mornings with coffee or peaceful evenings with a glass of wine. It serves as a quiet outdoor extension of the room, ideal for unwinding after a day at the beach or exploring town.

Central Location with a Quiet Feel

One of the most appealing aspects of The Court 8 is its ability to offer both walkable access and a sense of retreat. Guests are steps from Seaside’s dining, shopping, live events, and beach access, yet return to a setting that feels calm and removed from the bustle. The Court 8 provides a refined and inviting home base for experiencing Seaside and the greater Florida Panhandle.

The Court requires a two-night minimum year-round and a one-night minimum in winter. The booking calendar is available up to one year in advance for the general public. Guests must be 25 years of age or older to rent and sign registration. No occupants under 25 years of age are allowed; The Court is an adults-only residence.

This 1 bedroom bungalow was in the heart of Seaside and could not be more perfect. I came for a work event and wished I could have enjoyed more of the amenities. The unit was decorated beautifully, updated, and clean. The staff was wonderful. Highly recommend.
